Digitel Transformation Case Study

Venezuela is a competitive market in which to operate, with strong price pressures, increasing customer churn, and mobile operators rivaling for market share. To increase its market position and deliver upon its goals, Digitel Venezuela needed to create a strong competitive advantage to grow its subscriber base across the country, while further consolidating its business systems and processes to enable greater efficiency from a cost and operational perspective.

Digitel had over 40 processes which resulted in fragmented business groups and inefficiency across the business, affecting its response to market requirements and impacting the ability to adapt or go to market quickly. This meant Digitel was unable to truly maximize the value of its network – the fastest in Venezuela. To achieve this, Digitel partnered with Redknee to launch an agile, flexible and scalable solution to support its aggressive growth plans. The solution eliminated numerous disparate back office systems, reduced time to market and delivered a quality customer experience across the different lines of business – mobile, fixed and Internet.
